Kit-Kat: Mt. Fuji & Kuromitsu (2012)
A souvenir pack with a fantastic Mt. Fuji motif makes a great gift, but more importantly, contains blueberry cheesecake Kit-Kat. I first saw this product in 2012, but since they have changed the flavor to strawberry cheesecake (I cannot confirm whether it is the exact same as the Yokohama strawberry cheesecake flavor). This is a cream cheese-infused white chocolate with blueberry cream cheese between the wafers.
On the right is a unique, white chocolate flavor made with Eitaro kuromitsu. Kuromitsu is molasses-like syrup made from kurozato, a Japanese black sugar. This Nihonbashi regional edition is a collaboration with Eitaro, a Tokyo-based shop that has been around since the 1800's.
