The Great Arch
The Great Arch as seen from the Mt. Carmel Highway. The Great Arch is a blind arch--an arch formed from springs eroding the rock from underneath. You can see the red color of the Navajo Sandstone forming the arch which is 600 feet across and 400 feet high.
