North Sterling Reservoir State Park

This place had swanky bathrooms with running water. I was used to camping at Merritt Reservoir in Nebraska where all you had was an outhouse.

 

Camping on the night of great winds and rain. Our little camp fire was a trooper. We got it lit under light rain and it stayed alive under heavy rain. But I didn't know marshmallows could soak up the camp fire smell; I had a bag of untoasted marshmallows that tasted smoky. Also, my camera smells like burning pine.

 

And I had tofurky for the first time in my life. Not too bad.
