7-Way Framebang (EXPLORED :)

    My Portfolio and Photography Services

Ok, I know I'm not breaking new ground with this shot, but since it's been awhile since my last post, I thought I'd toss this one up here to commemorate the 7-hour framebang I had yesterday with PNW all-stars Aaron Reed and Zeb Andrews, and local cats Jim "I Kill All My Shots" Patterson, Rich "I Can't Spell Your Last Name" Matyskievicavvkiactz, Lisa "Blue Hour" Moore, and Dawn "My Legs Hurt" Last Name Unknown.

I had the privilege of meeting Aaron and Zeb on their windsprint of a roadtrip through Oregon and California and I've gotta say what a couple of nice guys. We hooked up at Natural Bridges here in Santa Cruz and went on to shoot Four Mile beach, where we were joined by Jim P. A few hours later we found ourselves at Laguna Creek Beach, then it was on to dinner in Davenport, where Rich, Lisa, and Dawn joined us. After foods we all cruised down to Panther / Hole in the Wall for sunset, which was a bit futsy due to the thick marine layer, but we all had a good time anyway watching Aaron get pounded by the surf. That dude is a wave magnet, so I stayed as far away from him as I could.

Still a beautiful spot! Great comp as well, I really like how the rocks curve back into the ocean and how the background shore/cliffs follow with the same arch, great eye Joshua.

Wonderful comparison between the silky soft water surface and the solid sharp rocks!
      Lovely tone, too!
