Mount Rainier - Fredrickson Washington (HDR)

I took this picture of Mount Rainier tonight while passing through Fredrickson Washington. I knew I would not be able to be at a cool location to capture a sunset so I found the first place to stop that offered a view of the mountain.

I can cite and show many examples of some great images of the mountain. We are fortunate to have such a great mountain to photograph. Living this close to a volcano many cities have volcano evacuation signs and routes posted on major roads and highways.

So, with this image I decided to show the industrialization that could be in the direct path of the mountain. Homes and communities are also in direct line of possible volcano eruption zones. Like the volcanoes of the world many people live very close to destructive forces.

Well, even with the industrialization of this image I liked the colors and the halo on top of the mountain tonight.
