The War Between Four Walls

Well, after a week of building I'm done (and a day late for Victor Hugo's birthday, as it happens). Here is my version of the iconic climax in Les Miserables. I hope I did it justice, although that would be very hard to claim, in my opinion. I made it an all-LEGO scene for the Summer Joust (with some FP even), and yes this is the end of my vig series, I prefer just getting to the smashing scenes rather than dawdling over living room meetings ;) .

Attentive people will find lots of accurate details, like;

The man Cabuc shot;

The mattress used to keep off cannon-fire (albeit slightly misplaced here);

Gavroche (also misplaced, and too tall);

The barricade to the alleyway in the back;

The helmet Jean Valjean shot to the ground;

Jean Valjean in the alley with Inspector Javert;

And even Grantaire, who is hidden behind the broken window.

Also, as you can see, I have several differences from both book and movie, like, instead of a boring red flag, I made the glorious flag of France. And a really detailed fellow might note that it's incorrect to have a deep blue sky, since it was supposed to be light blue to white :) . Brownie points to anyone who thought of that!

I'm quite happy with most of this. Hopefully you guys enjoy and don't get too disappointed! A few more shots left to upload later.
