3 Peaks Cyclo Cross Race 2014
Staged in the Yorkshire Dales for 52 years now, this legendary race, takes 600 riders 38 miles across spectacular scenery, testing the riders skills & fitness along the way. Rob Jebb took his 11th win of this unique event, in a stunning time of just 35 secs under 3hrs. The legend that is Nick Craig took second ( and the Vets prize) 3 minutes later with youngster Joe Moses taking 3rd despite a snapped steerer on his way down from Pen Y Ghent. Dan Treby had to win the prize for the best dressed ( see if you can spot him;0)) While Verity Appleyard rode the course in just over 4 hours to grab the women's prize. This was my first time at the event and the scale of the race and the competitors just blew me away. Enjoy my outlook, but please don't help yourself to the images.
