That Sunday Evening Wait

Every Sunday evening a massive crowd of Indian and Bangladeshi gentlemen gather in Little India to eat, drink and catch up with friends. Long lines wrap around the block waiting patiently for dinner. My favorite spot for masala chai near Little India MRT station is almost inaccessible during this time. In general most of these men are migrant workers who, during the week, are very busy building Singapore brick by brick. From what I've been told, Sunday is their only day off. You can thank these guys for their tireless hard work on the many giant towers, HDBs and condos across the country.
