Coopers Rest - Easter Road Edinburgh

I became nervous about spinning the camera, in case it stopped pointing at the guys at the next table. Seems I got what I asked for when it stopped on me. (Jonny)

I arrive early, and sit in the corner, next to a group of young guys with a packet of custard creams on their table. Jonny arrives late and is nervous about taking a picture. Behind the bar, a fridge cabinet which looks like it should contain sandwiches, but is empty. And a couple of nondescript trophies. The barmaid is small with a squeaky voice. Later on, two middle-aged women dressed up sit in the window seat drinking mini individual bottles of wine. Anne arrives from her Gallic class and tries to say a few words she's learnt. Outside, a smoker tells me about the alcohol rehab centre he works in. Me and Ian play pool against a friendly tatooed biker. Winner stays on. I win twice. (Cai)

We were sat next to some choice company - There was a nasty dog and they wolfed down a packet of custard creams - I was fond of the wee lady at the bar. Cai was pool champion; how did that happen? (Ian)
