I bike SF

I'm selling a rad new sticker at ZPG, thanks to the amazing Tori Wentworth.

So... we've all bitten it one way or another on the tracks around town -- now admit defeat with pride! Just try to keep the rubber side down from now on...

So who came up with the logo first?

Cursory evidence suggests Tori's design (October, 2007) preceded FailBlog's logo (January, 2008). Wouldn't that be embarrassing if FailBlog's logo, um, FAILS.

After not having eaten tracks in years, I slid out on them in the rain today. *sigh

Wolfe City,NH has a "bike trail" built beside and between rails of an old line. The tracks remain because a railcar hobbyist club wouldn't let the path be built if the rails were removed. Many sections do not allow for a comfortable width path to be built beside the tracks. In other sections, crossing water or wetlands, the embankment is only wide enough for the tracks, so the cyclists, walkers, equestrians and occasional poaching ATVer all have to fit two-way traffic between the rails. Crashes are common. My wife slightly collapsed a lung biffing on a rail crossing last summer.
