Inverted Hawaiian Flag

This inverted Hawaiian flag -- the flag that was used by the Kingdom of Hawaii before it became a US territory -- indicating the distress of the Hawaiian nation under US occupation, flies along Highway 130 between Keaau and Pahoa, not far from the Kingdom of Hawai'i outpost.
