Huizen Transmitter Roundabout
Pictures of a newly erected monument to the days (1937-1958) when the town of Huizen was the voice of the Netherlands (PHOHI and PCJ, later Radio Nederland Wereldomroep). This half size replica of the worlds first, wooden, rotatable antenna now stands on a roundabout on the Randweg, a road on the southern side of Huizen. Exact location is on the Google map. You cannot, yet, see it from the Google Map system....only put up on November 6th 2006.
