Library Parking Garage

I found a picture of this the other day while searching for photos from Kansas City and I knew I had to go photograph it myself. This is probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I live here and I've never heard of it before—it makes me wonder what other secrets my hometown might be hiding.

    Neat photo, but somehow it's making the rounds identified as a parking garage! I know there is parking as part of it, but it IS the main entrance of the public library, isn't it?

    Thank you for sharing this photograph under Creative Commons. I have used it in my Collection of "Bookshelf Murals Around The World" and have placemarked the locations in Google Earth by making a post in Google Earth Community. As GEC will be frozen by Google on May 1, 2015 I have also duplicated the post in (new) Google Earth Community Forums and have also made a similar post in my blog - Travelogue of an Armchair Traveller.

    Needless to say I have given due credit to you.
