While on the Smith-Dorrien Trail, we looked for new turns and side roads we've never taken before. One of these turns brought us to a parking lot which was parallel to the main trail. The sign before the turn said: 'Buller Mountain" so we thought there was a view point there.

 

Nope, a parking lot and a little path adding to the trees, and some picnic tables, that's what the first glance showed us. I walked the small path first, and after crossing the trees line I've seen the most enchanting little pond. The air that day was so crisp and clear, the wind was very light, and the reflections were wonderful. The mountains in the background had some fire spots on them which supplied warm colors to the scene. This was a hidden jewel of a pond, and of course, we went click-click like crazy.

 

Yes, it's another reflection photo, but how can one resist those? *s*.
