See it big here!

You know how when you go out to nature, it's always nice to replace the noise of the city with natural sounds: Birds chirping, streaming waters, the growl of a wind, a roaring thunder. There's almost always some nice sound to listen to when out in nature.

yesterday, we ended up in the mountains again, and when we saw these amazing reflections in Lower Kananaskis lake, we stopped to take a few captures. I was setting the tripod since it was close to 8 PM, and the light would've made the exposure time longer. Joe was getting his camera when he suddenly said: "Listen!"

"What?" I asked after few seconds. "I can't hear a thing".

"Exactly", said Joe. "No sounds... nothing".

It was a unique moment. We both stood silently, looked around, and tried to capture a sound... any sound. There were none. Complete sound of silence, that left us both in awe.

We both found a place to stand and take photos, keeping quiet for a while. Suddenly, out of the blue, I heard Joe yelling: "Helloooooooooooooo". And lo and behold, the mountains answered him with an even louder sound: "Hellllllllooooooooooo......".

Wow! Just Wow! *s*.

Happy Civic Holiday/Heritage day to our Canadian friends. We hope you all are having a great long holiday weekend.
