1930 American Austin

I found this old car parked on the street and as I was shooting it the owner came out of his house to say hello. He gave me the history of the American Austin and its connection with the WWII military Jeep (apparently, the best of the Willys, Ford, and Austin prototypes were combined). He also took me back to his garage where he had a two Model Ts. The garage was too packed with stuff to get a decent shot. To say he was a pack rat is a bit of an understatement because he took me inside his house to show me an old Nickelodeon. All three stories of his house were packed floor to rafter with enough early century memorabilia to fill a small museum, which, incidentally, is what he would like to do with all his stuff, if the right people came along.
