The Empire State Building - December 1942

"The Empire State Building, 1250 feet high. I went to the observatory in the mooring mast tower - but cameras are not allowed. Something to do with the war being on they say."

Photographs taken by my father, Gerald Trevor Roberts during trips to New York in December 1942 and December 1943. He was on leave from the RAF in Nova Scotia.
