Priddy's Hard_024 - 25 February 2012

The Priddy's Hard (Gosport) of today is best known for the acclaimed Explosion Museum and some recent housing developments. For many years and especially in the 19th and early 20th centuries, it was the site of a huge munitions depot and fort. Many buildings on the site remain disused and derelict and make interesting photographs. There was also an internal railway network for moving munitions and evidence of its remains can be seen in some of the pictures in this set.
