#5 - Debunking The Blogazine

I was taking some pictures for an upcoming blog post of the same title today and managed to get some nice colours/clarity from several open design mags.

The reason for the photos / blog post is to prove that magazine design isn't as innovative and creative as everyone seems to think. If you lay down a bunch of magazines beside eachother (as I did) you'll see that each issue uses the same layout template, just with different elements dropped in.

Not a thrilling photo for the day I know - I'm spending some time reading up on off-camera lighting, hoping to get into that as soon as I can afford to pick up the needed equipment. Then I'll be able to do really interesting stuff :)
