2008 Was a Great Year
I'm stealing this idea from my flickr buddy Cleo.
2008 has been a very up and down year. But one thing we can all agree on is that Flickr has become more social. Many of you "internet people" I've never met in person, but I feel you are all real friends. Maybe not "hey can you help me move on Saturday" kind of friends, but people we can banter with back and forth and use our photos as means to communicate. We've grown collectively, and I'm very happy to know some of you.
So if you would, please post one of your favorite images of the year in the comments. It can either be your best photo, your most 'interesting' or just one that defines you. But please keep images to the small size. Part of having friends, connections and networking is to see what others are doing. And I'm very proud of my contacts for their perspective, talent, and artistic abilities and would be happy for you guys to show off your stuff here.
Maybe you'll meet a new friend.
This photo was taken during my 2 week trip to Washington state. While wandering around near Mt. Rainier, I came across this forest of stumps during sunset. One of those photos ended up being my most interesting photo for a few months.
Thank you again for a great 2008 and I look forward to knowing and growing with you more this year.
