I got this durian at Marina Market in Cupertino. It was more watery than the others I have had. Various parts of it also had hints of tropical fruit flavor, but it wasn't strong enough for me to make out exactly what kind it tasted like the most.
For those of you afraid to try durian, it doesn't smell nearly as bad as the legend states. For the most part, I can only get frozen ones around here, and as long as it hasn't been allowed to reach room temperature, it smells like any other fruit or vegetable when cut open. It only starts to smell like sulphur 20-30 minutes later. Yes, there is a musty smell, but that is very weak compared to the sulphurous smell.
