Story Time at the Museum

The main reason for us visiting the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco was to see the exhibition of 'The Sacred Arts of Bhutan' (no photography allowed in that exhibition unfortunately), but once we'd finished taking in all the wonderful pieces that made up that exhibition we continued to explore the rest of the museum. The museum is spread over three floors - the Bhutan exhibition was on the first (ground) floor, and there are other exhibits from all over Asia on the other two floors. As we mooched around, we came across a heart-warming sight - one of the museum volunteers was in a corner surrounded by kids (of all ages) and was telling stories of Chinese warriors and emperors. The audience was eating up every word. It was lovely to see (and listen to).

I typically upload in small sets - don't just look at the latest one in my photostream as you might be missing something you'll like more.... and your comments are ALWAYS welcome :)
