Shower Water Snake feeding :)

Newer Older

With a bit of free time this evening and a new macro filter I thought I'd have another go at some water drip photography. I think I have this out of my system now. :)

I typically upload in small sets - don't just look at the latest one in my photostream as you might be missing something you'll like more.... and your comments are ALWAYS welcome :)

Great catch again. this is one thing I tried and gave up on. drops. instead I took the easy way out and tried getting a poured glass swoosh. I need to try this again. Yours look inspiring. Excellent post.

Thanks - just watch the glass - shooting in a shower can get the lens a little wet if you're not careful!

what do i need to take this kind of shot, John?

This set was taken with the kit 18-55mm lens with +10 macro filter added (but you could get close without the filter - see some of my older drip photos), an SB-600 for flash (but built in flash would have worked too), a steady hand, and a lot of time and retakes!
