      Wow, that's incredible! I never would have imagined that one could see the transit of Venus like that with a camera lens (and not telescopes).

      When it first came up you could actually see it with the naked eye.
      as a little black dot. 1/60th of a degree wide. 1/30th the apparent size of the sun.

      The date on this screen says June 08. I thought today was June 5. Have I missed something?
