Another field objective experiment

Ichneumonidae

Size: 8-10 mm

Early morning field stack of a small parasitic wasp.

This is another stack from my experimental outing with the small Reichert objective last summer. Magnification is roughly 8-9X.

Stacked from 55 natural light exposures in Zerene Stacker. The step size proved to be slightly too large but the subject began moving around before I finished this one so in retrospect it was better than nothing.

My conclusion is that this objective works decent for high magnification field shooting. But like I mentioned in a recent post I prefer to have an adjustable iris in the field.
