Command Pilot: FANDEL. Buzz bomb targets. 39 planes were dispatched. 11 planes dropped 30 tons on the primary target and 28 failed to bomb. 34 Credit Sorties.
The face of the pilot was verified as Halbert based on a photo on Page 499 of "Mendlesham Memories: The Compleate Collection". The other airman in the picture is either Copilot Ragland or Engineer Drost.
