Island Pond Sunset

It was calm and there was a large, scalloped cloud overhead and a hole to the west where the sun could get under the cloud, perfect conditions for sunset reflection shots. I hurried to Island Pond, set up the tripod with a split-neutral density filter and was not disappointed. Unlike some other days when the good sunset light lasts for only a short time, the great light of May 7 lasted for about twenty minutes.
