Hamilton Park, Weehawken, NJ, Manhattan Skyline, and Cruise Ship
A friend of mine mentioned offhand how it would be nice to see people in my pictures. I agreed, and had the idea to try something different. At Hamilton Park in Weehawken, NJ, I moved back from the fence to the inside edge of the park to capture the people in the park in the foreground and the Manhattan skyline in the distance.
I had the good fortune to have a cruise ship (the Norwegian Breakaway) pull out of port and head down the Hudson River while I was there. The people in the photo were not all there at the same time. This is a composite of the best pictures of couples, families and friends taken about an hour before sunset. I used several layers with masks of different photos in Photoshop.
