In Memory of Daffodils

While the daffodils were late this year after the cold winter, they are fading quickly now so I thought I’d post this one lit by evening sunshine. I took it with my Canon A3150 point and shoot in our local park at the end of March. The small sensors on point and shoots give a large depth of field which worked well here to keep all of the main subject in focus while still blurring the background. Interestingly, or perhaps not, the name daffodil is derived from asphodel.
