Bow Riding

Another one from the whale watching trip on Sunday. These Common Dolphins appeared to be enjoying themselves bow riding in front a RIB with other whale watchers. I took it with the Canon 100-400mm at 320mm and the exposure details were f5.6, 1/6400 of a second and ISO 400. Edits in Lightroom were minimal and involved an adjustment of the white balance to enhance the blue tones, as well as sharpening and noise reduction.

Shortly after I posted this, I opened the page three of the Irish Times to see excellent shots of the dolphins and the fin whales from last Sunday that were taken by one of these guys, the photographer George Karbus.
