This little waterfall is hidden on the far East end of Lake Superior's Miners Beach. The Pictured Rocks get their name because many of the sandstone formations and walls have been stained red, orange, black, white, and green from traces of minerals.

For those wanting to go see this waterfall - there is a trail along the ledge just off the beach in the pines, makes for easier walking to the site. Also, I believe there's another parking lot to the east so I'd advise to park there. NOTE: you could miss this waterfall. It's a very small waterfall, at about 18-24 inches in height. You can see that in the photo below that I have added.

I was born and raised in MI, the LP, and never did I fully realize how much MI had to offer until looking through your images. I love this one in particular and hope to one day venture that far north myself to enjoy all that MI has to offer photographically.

I was about to comment on your image, and then I noticed the recent post about the size of the waterfall, and I'm even more impressed! Great perspective for such a small waterfall, I had no idea it was little!! Terrific eye for composition!
