Another multi-coloured critter.

Panther chameleon.(Furcifer paradalis)

This Madagascan chameleon can grow to 50 cm (male),with females about half that. The male is more vibrantly coloured & the colouration varies with location. They have very long tongues (sometimes exceeding their body length ),which they can shoot out to catch insect prey in 30 thousandaths of a second !!
