Ma Favourite Tree

This as we would say here is ma (my) favourite tree . It's not the biggest or the oldest i just think it's cool . The Strathcarron Loch was dammed in 1939 turning it into Carron Valley Reservoir and raising the water level but the tree still survives even when its flooded more than half the year . The backdrop is provided by the Kylsyth Hills with the peak of Meikle Bin touching the clouds .These hills formed around 370 million years ago when the climate would have been close to what Central Africa has today.
