    The small yellow variety, is the best and the sweetest among the Bananas in Kerala.
    They go well with Puttu (Steamed Rice cake with a sprinkle of grated coconut)

      Nice - we have a shortage of bananas in Australia, but the small little ones aren't that common. I do like the small sweet bananas though.

      I don't know if these are the same, but there are bananas in Central and South America that are short like these and they call them manzanitas I think. They taste a little like an apple and a banana combined. They are by far my favorite. Yummy! I can just taste them now.

      Oh yess! this is known as kadali pazham in Malayalam...they'r extreme sweet and eating a dozen of them would be equal to eating maybe one of two normally sized banana's! awesome shot!
