Today was such a nice day, that I took my overwintering Coleus out to get some sun. I also throughly watered them for the first time in more than a month and a half...
Believe it or not, I have been neglecting my Coleus since I took cuttings of them on the first/second week of December (2008)... I basically, took cuttings, rooted them in new potting soil, watered well and placed a dome on them. I placed them on my shelves under grow lights, but haven't really been watering them.
Surprisingly, most are doing pretty well... Some of them did died, but that was expected. I actually expected more to have died. A few of them grew really big and are now too big for the domes. I'll have to pinch them back and maybe make more cutting of them.
I'm so glad I got those humidity domes. They really help keep the moisture in.
