Lego People

Lego people on the wall at the Lego store in Downtown Disney.

UPDATE: This photo has been used on some Japanese blog, but I have no idea why! (Also, seemingly hundreds of other blogs, too.)

UPDATE 12/20/09 - I went back and tried this with a new angle: www.flickr.com/photos/joeshlabotnik/4202180520/

Sick Lee, digitalkatie, Crazyquilter, and 177 other people added this photo to their favorites.

Great image. We used it in our Slideshare presentation:

Adds some good impact to our points about using social media.
    Thanks for making it CC.

I love it! I used it for a facebook meme -- mashed up with random stuff to make a silly album cover. I love lego.

Hi! I saw this photo used on a TechCrunch article:

    Colors of the World · لألوان · 颜色 · 颜色 · Barvy · Couleurs · Farben · Χρώματα · צבעים · रंग · Colori · 色 · 색상 · Kolory  Cores · Цвета · Colores · Màu

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Colors of the World: Life Is Color!.

This photo uses color in an exciting and beautiful way. If it is an original image that you created, and not something you found on the Internet, then I would love for you to share it with the whole group!

You also are invited to join the group and submit additional original images that are equally colorful and fascinating. Thank you!

    Hey, that's really cool!

Do you know if you can buy those characters individually at the store?

Hi there, Indeed it is a very nice photo. I read the description where you said that you didn't know why your photo was used in other blogs. You should not be surprised because according to the license of this photo, people are free to use it, to remix and build upon, providing that they give you attribution.
BTW that was my intention. Are you happy with this or are you modifying the license of your photo?
    Cheers, Marga

No, I get that people have permission to use this photo; I just didn't know what the Japanese blog was saying!

(But I'm also a little surprised that this photo seems to be so extremely popular!)

Great pic! Would love to use it in a presentation I'm writing - see you have creative commons with attribution - is it ok to use? How would I do that?! Thanks!

I love this it is so original.

I would like to use it in a non-profit video that I´m doing on diabetes.

Please let me know if there is a certain way you would like me to attribute this work.
