The first Wendy's 7-15-2006 (2)

    Newer Older

Bob checks out some of the memorabilia on the walls of the first Wendy’s restaurant, opened by Dave Thomas in downtown Columbus, Ohio on November 15, 1969. These pictures were taken in July, 2006. Unfortunately, Wendy’s closed this location on March 2, 2007 because of struggling sales. As you can see, we were the only people in the restaurant in the early afternoon.

Why did Wendy's remove those newspaper tops?

I thought those were the neatest things in the Wendy's restaurants!

What catalog was used on the tables? I adored the tables.
