Henry L. Warren, a farmer in Prospect Hill, NC, started collecting the quartz from his fields in 1968. Combining it with junk and cement, he created a delightful space for himself and any passers by. His widow stills lives in the farm house across the driveway. The public is still welcome to see and enjoy his vision.
