S is for Sea Life on the Sea Shore

Ahhhhhh Vancouver.

It was a short trip to seaside city but it was wonderful just to get away for the day. I loved seeing the green and the rain and the ocean, everything is still snowy/grey and brown here. This statue was so cool, right next to the Olympic cauldron, it was designed by Douglas Coupland and we could see it from our hotel window.

This morning I woke up early to go for a 13 km run along the seawall in Stanley Park, it was such a beautiful run, looking up to see the Totem Poles, running underneath a lighthouse and beside a mermaid statue perched on a boulder in the water, the ocean mist and the mountains under a morning fog. I could get used to that!
