Photo assignment for a group called "Take a class with Dave and Dave"

 

I submitted this one against my personal preference because I felt like it received better feed back than my other choice which I called "dreaming" I took the advice of several people and I darkened it... many felt the initial pic was too light.

 

Assignment 1. High key. The "key" of an image describes the nature of the tones presented. In a High key image most of the tones will be brighter than middle gray. Bright background, bright subject, and the dark tones take on a supernatural power to highlight what you want to show.
