The Peninsula: Grande Deluxe Bathroom

This is indeed a nice picture. Thanks to my Ultra Wide Angle lens, it makes tiny room appears larger. The bathroom at The Pen is actually quite small, but due to the clever placement of mirrors, it appears larger. The layout here is the prototype back in 1994 for newer Peninsula Hotels to come. It has been replicated at other Peninsula Hotels, including Bangkok, Tokyo and soon in Shanghai.

I must admit it works rather well in this compact area; but amenities is lacking and fixtures are the products of the 90s. Look at the telephone, age-old hair dryer and shower fittings.. they are considered an 'antique' in today's term.
