Horsehead Nebula

The Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) is an iconic deep-sky object just below the belt of Orion. It is a dark nebula in front of the emission nebula IC 434 (Sh 2-277). This image was taken using a QHY22 camera on a 300mm F/4 Newtonian telescope. It is a stack of 19 exposures of 5 minutes each using a Hydrogen-alpha filter and autoguider.
