Are these images from some kind of candy catalog?
  • Joad Henry 6y

Yeah Jason - I found it doing a search on Google...it was an ebay auction that had ended but I was still able to snag the pics.....

Don I've never heard of ANY of these candies... I think maybe they are only in Canada? When I went to Vancuver it was so strange going into a perfectly normal convenience store and all the candy and products seem like they are from another world!
  • Joad Henry 6y

Yeah Steve, they are all Canadian....Cinnamon Danish and Crispy Crunch were my faves from this photo...
  • guinnesssteve 6y

Just the names of them make me salivate... I'm like Pavlovs dog over here! In the states we have Twix, Three Musketeers, Mars Bars... How is that supposed to make me want them? I think Twix is a made-up word anyway!

    I REMEMBER CINNAMON DANISH! OMG!!!!!!

I've been bugging everyone about this one for years and no one remembers it! My mom used to buy it in packs of 4 at Steinberg's!

hmm - I just found a 1980s Crispy Crunch wrapper behind my "parking lot o' crud" - I didn't know it was marketed here.....

hey can you scan it for me? would you be interested in selling it?

WOW. For years I've been describing the Danish bar and getting blank or fuzzy looks... It was a phenom for awhile (1977?) and then I guess everyone got sick of it. I remember it originally at xmas at Zeller's, then in Woolco's bulk bin, etc.. Finally, photographic proof of it's existence!! I almost jumped out of my chair..

I totally forgot all about the Cinnamon Danish. I think we only had them in my area for a really short time. I loved the Treasures bar also.

WOW!!! It is nice to see that I am not the only one searching for info about the Danish bar. With the white chocolate and pink stripes drizzled over it, amazing!!! This is AWESOME!!! Just now remembering some of those other bars. My brother will be pleased, I have been bugging him for awhile about that bar.

I love the picture. And love the discussion too!
The Danish was a favourite. I couldn't remember the name for the longest time!

I too remember the Danish, but Crispy Crunch was my favourite. Although it's still being made, it hasn't tasted the same since sometime in the 80s, perhaps when Neilson's was purchased. I miss the peanut butter flavour it used to have. Now it's just sugary with little flavour. The only one I don't recognize is the "Molly-O" bar.
