Pea Soup, Dinner Island WMA
This mornings shooting assignment was to capture both a moon-set and a sunrise, which were occurring at nearly the same time. I had the location I wanted and found it in the dark and waited for some light to appear. Well this was what I got...pea soup fog so thick you could slice it with a knife.
All my time was not waisted though...this was the morning of the 2 baby fawns. After they ran off, I moved to this location initially to see if I could call in this gobbler (Wild Turkey) that had been gobbling all morning. I talked turkey with my call box for about 20 minutes but could not get him interested. I had already come up with the image title, if he had cooperated..."Turkey in the Mist". So instead I got this..."Fence line in the Mist".
It all kinda worked out pretty well, considering the truck key incident the morning before.
