Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska

    Newer Older

Sarah Palin, current - but at the time this photo was taken, future - Governor of Alaska marches in the Chugiak July 4 Parade. She was gladhandling the crowd, and didn't seem to notice the guy with the huge telephoto lens following her for about 400 feet along the parade route. Then she looked up and noticed me, flashing me the look above.

"As for that VP talk all the time, I'll tell you, I still can't answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?"

"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending soldiers out on a task that is from God. That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan."

"All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads in an interview with Katie Couric.

Katie Couric: "What other Supreme Court decisions do you disagree with?"
Sarah Palin: "Well, let's see. There's --of course --in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings, there's never going to be absolute consensus by every American. And there are -- those issues, again, like Roe v Wade where I believe are best held on a state level and addressed there. So you know -- going through the history of America, there would be others but--"
Couric: "Can you think of any?"
Palin: "Well, I could think of -- of any again, that could be best dealt with on a more local level. Maybe I would take issue with. But you know, as mayor, and then as governor and even as a Vice President, if I'm so privileged to serve, wouldn't be in a position of changing those things but in supporting the law of the land as it reads today." --unable to name any Supreme Court decisions other than Roe v. Wade, CBS News interview, Oct. 1, 2008

"Perhaps so." --Sarah Palin, when asked if we may need to go to war with Russia because of the Georgia crisis.

"Let me speak specifically about a credential that I do bring to this table, Charlie, and that's with the energy independence that I've been working on for these years as the governor of this state that produces nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of energy." --Sarah Palin, misstating the actual amount of energy produced by Alaska, which is only 3.5 percent.

The AP has announced that they have assigned 11 reporters to "Fact-Check" her book.

I am waiting for them to "fact-check" Obama's book. Maybe then we will find out where he was really born and what really happened in the back of the limo with Larry Sinclair.

      Hi Sara,
I am a big fan of yours but I'd like to make a suggestion. Many are pontificating about your goals and if you don't mind a suggestion, here goes. You are a powerful, powerful gadfly to the left, as is Michelle Bachman. Having two females in the congress from the conservative, populist movements (Michelle in Congress and you in the Senate) would be an irritant like the left has never seen and your Alaskan constituency would immunize you from the leftists in Washington. As someone who's spent a bit of time in Alaska I'd say Alaskan's are about as independent as Arizonan's are.

After you provided influence on the right senate committee's you would have an established voting record and would be a more credible candidate for President from the right. A US Maggie Thatcher (more attractive of course :).

Consider it Ma'am. If I could vote for you as a Senator, I would.

The media could and should give her credit for her accomplishments. But it is easier and more amusing for their sicko minds to tear a person apart...

This may be shocking, but here are 5 things you’re most likely wrong about.

You never heard of Sarah Palin before she was announced as McCain’s running mate. If you believe that her name is really Sarah Palin, you’re wrong.

Palin and McCain said they were going to reform Washington. If you think they were going to do this by getting elected, you’re wrong again.

Obama disappeared for 2 weeks after winning the election only to reappear looking exhausted sitting next to a John McCain, with a bad poker face, for a press photo shoot. If you believe Obama has free will and the feds aren’t writing his teleprompter, you’re also wrong.

If you believe that we caught Bin Laden immediately following the release of Obama’s birth certificate, you’re wrong again.

If you believe that the feds haven’t recruited editors, journalists, and moderators to write the headlines and control the commenting on major news sites in an effort to suppress this information, you’re seriously wrong.

This is the real story that the media is not and cannot report on. Learn what Osama, Obama, Biden, Bin Laden, the FBI’s Most Wanted Terrorists, and Sarah Palin had to do with the last election and the military’s overthrow of our government.
