Cokeburg, PA - a great example of a coal patch town in Washington County. Many thanks to the webmaster of Coalfields of the Appalachian Mountains for including this picture on the site.

My grandmother's parents settled here after immigrating from Austria, my great-grandparents are buried in Scenery Hill Cemetery-Wenzell and Marie Marsch section 1 there is a bluish tint to the cement of their headstoneS 1930'S. VERY UNIQUE for that time period.
