Dusty Ridge

Tasman Glacier’s terminal lake is surrounded by small mountains of rock and dust that have been carried there by the glacier. They also mark where the glacier once terminated. The lake itself did not exist in 1973, but has since formed out of meltwater; the glacier is quickly retreating due to global warming.
