Taken for Active Assignment Weekly: Still Life

Still life photography is the depiction of inanimate subject matter, most typically a small grouping of objects that are either human-made or "natural." Still life photography, more so than other types of photography, such as landscape or portraiture, gives the photographer more leeway in the arrangement of design elements within a composition.

DARE: Go Macro

RESTRICTION: No bowls of fruit.

What It Took:

1. I didn't know what to do or where to begin with this assignment. Anything and everything looked like it could have been a still life, but I didn't know how to make it one. However, I decided to submit something in order to get feedback.

2.Getting hurt and lying on the grass, snapping random images.

3. Finding a golf ball.

4. Super macro function on my camera
