      I like this one lots, too. It makes me think of the webzines around that time whose look and feel either got redesigned into memory or vanished when the sites died. That kind of sensibility -- Miika Saksi via late-era David Carson, heavy on the Emigre fonts and the layering -- is too far away now to be clear in the mind, but not far enough to be retro.

      0sil8 pre-dates kottke.org, right? So happy 13th yr too.

      I still reminece about the '99 web communities: Swanky.org, HalfEmpty (marty spellerburg) and Chank Diesel being the heavy influencers for me.
