The Colorado River as it flows through the Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon right before sunset. The Colorado River is 1450 miles long and flows from Colorado through Utah, Arizona, forms part of the boundaries between Arizona and Nevada, Arizona and southern California, then flows through Mexico to the ocean. Seven states depend on this river for water for drinking and/or irrigation. Photo from my trip March, 2008.
